Data Deletion Instructions

1. Overview

ReelOxa respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to delete the data we hold about you, including any data we received from Instagram through our AutoDM service.

2. Self-Service: Disconnect Instagram

You can disconnect your Instagram account at any time from within the ReelOxa app:

(a) Sign in to your ReelOxa account.

(b) Open the AutoDM Dashboard from the sidebar.

(c) Click Disconnect Instagram.

Once disconnected, we immediately revoke and delete your Instagram access token, stop processing new webhooks from Meta, and remove your linked Instagram profile from our database. AutoDM logs related to that account are permanently deleted within 30 days.

3. Request Full Account & Data Deletion

To delete your entire ReelOxa account and all associated data (profile, AutoDM campaigns, LinkTrack links and click data, Instagram tokens, AutoDM logs, billing records), send a request to:

Subject: Data Deletion Request
Include: the email address associated with your ReelOxa account, and (if applicable) your linked Instagram username.

We will verify your identity and complete deletion within 30 days. We will email you a confirmation once your data has been removed.

4. What Gets Deleted

(a) Your account profile and authentication credentials.

(b) All AutoDM campaigns, LinkTrack short links and their click analytics.

(c) Instagram User ID, username, access tokens, and webhook subscriptions.

(d) AutoDM keyword rules, message templates, and message logs.

(e) Usage analytics linked to your account.

5. What May Be Retained

We may retain a limited set of records where required by law (for example, tax and billing records for the statutory retention period under Indian law). These records are kept in a restricted system and are not used for any other purpose.

6. Revoke Access from Instagram

You can also revoke ReelOxa's access to your Instagram account directly from Instagram:

Instagram app → Settings → Apps and Websites → Active → find ReelOxa → Remove.

Revoking access from Instagram stops Meta from sending us further webhooks, but does not delete data we already hold. To delete that data, use the steps above.
